What your photos say about your biz

What do your photos say about your biz? A ๐Ÿ‘Whole ๐Ÿ‘Lot ๐Ÿ‘

Now more than ever is it true that an image is worth a thousand words. We live in a digital-first world in which attention spans are shorter and options are seemingly endless.

Your website and social media pages are the first impressions potential customers will have. So you'll want to put your best and most authentic foot forward.

Good photography elicits trust, builds a sense of connection, and can inspire people to purchase your product or service.

Here are some tips to making sure your photography is on point:

Use natural light. Lighting is so important to a good photograph. If you don't have studio lights, take your photoshoot outside.

Make sure your white balance is accurate. In non-technical terms, white balance is how warm or cool the colors in your photo appear. You don't want to end up with a yellow photo so check this setting while you're shooting!

Pay attention to composition. You'll want to make sure the elements in your photograph are balanced (think rule of thirds). And consider if you'll have to crop it for social media or your website making sure you won't leave out any major details.

Use simple backgrounds. When it comes to your website and social media keeping it simple is best. This highlights your products and makes adding text to your images MUCH easier.
