Three Tips to Improve Email Marketing

Would you like to increase revenue?

Then you should prioritize email marketing. While there's always some buzz that email marketing is dead, that's very much not the case. Revenue from email marketing continues to grow year over year and is estimated to reach 11 billion in 2023. 78% of marketers have seen an increase in email engagement over the last 12 months, according to Hubspot.

But, as our gmail accounts can attest to, people are inundated with emails! So in order to successfully convert your leads into clients try these tips:

  1. Segment Your List. People are inundated with offerings, segmentation ensures your customers receive information they actually care about. For example, if you have a segment of customers that only buy red wine, sending them email offers with discounts on other types of wine will turn them off. Segmentation ensures the right offer is sent to the right customer.

  2. Test Subject Lines. Subject line is perhaps the most important part of your email. It's the reason people will open your email. Different types of subject lines to test include using scarcity, capitalizing on curiosity, asking a question, sharing news, or being very straightforward. Testing will help you get to know your audience and improve your email marketing results!

  3. Lead With A Strong Opening Line. Don't forget that the first line of your text appears in the preview right after the subject line when someone is looking at their inbox. You'll want to lay on the charm right away and get your email subscribers excited to open your email.
